Royston & District Museum & Art Gallery

We illustrate and interpret the history of Royston and its district through our collections and other resources encouraging everyone, in particular the local community, to actively participate in the collection, research and presentation of our local heritage.  We have a regular programme of events, workshops and activities, along with a programme of temporary exhibitions and displays. Our collections include material from the Stone Age to the Present day, and includes everything from domestic applicances and social history items, to fine art, ceramics, costume, photographs, maps and more.  The highlights of the Museum include the Royston Tapestry and the Royston Crow Printing Press.
